Per-cycle beats per-seat for review season

A 50-person team can pay $6,000+/year for per-seat suites. NineBox Pro covers a full review cycle for $99.

$6,000+/year Typical per-seat talent suite — billed monthly for every licensed user, even people who only look at the grid.
$99/cycle NineBox Pro — one complete review event, every evaluator votes free by scanning a QR code.

Traditional suites charge per seat because their software sits idle most of the year. NineBox is built for the review event itself, so you pay for the cycle you actually run — and nothing else.

Frequently asked questions

Everything HR teams ask before their first review cycle.

What counts as a review cycle?

One cycle is one complete review event in a room: you import the roster, send the pre-review to evaluators, run the live voting and nine-box discussion, lock in the final placements, and export the results. Paid plans let you reuse rooms and run multiple cycles — you pay per cycle, never per person.

What happens if I hit the people limit mid-review?

Nothing breaks. Your existing data is never touched — votes, notes, and placements all stay exactly as they are. You simply can't add more people to the room until you upgrade to a higher plan, and upgrading takes effect immediately.

Where is data stored?

On servers in the EU or US — you choose the hosting region when your workspace is set up. Each room's data is isolated from every other room, and deleting a room permanently destroys its roster, votes, discussion notes, and results.

Do you train AI on our data?

No. NineBox has no AI features and no model training of any kind. Talent review data is sensitive, so your votes and placements are never used to train, tune, or improve any model — ours or anyone else's.

Can I export our results?

Yes, on every plan including Free. Export the roster, scores, and final nine-box placements to CSV or XLSX at any point — before the session, during it, or months later if the room still exists.

What's your refund policy?

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. If a plan isn't the right fit, contact support within 14 days of purchase and we'll issue a refund — no lengthy justification needed.

Do free rooms expire?

No. Free rooms never expire. Take as long as you need for your review — the room, its data, and its exports stay available until you decide to delete them.

How do upgrades work?

Upgrades are per review cycle: buy a higher plan whenever you need bigger rooms or more parallel reviews. Your current rooms and all their data carry over untouched — an upgrade only raises the people and room limits on your account.
