Run your talent review in one live session.
NineBox turns the 9-box calibration meeting into a live, interactive session — raters vote from their phones by scanning a QR code, results land on the nine-box matrix in real time, and you export a decision-ready summary the moment the discussion ends.
How it works
From spreadsheet chaos to a calibrated grid — in three steps
No per-seat accounts, no software to install, no training deck. Your raters already know how to scan a QR code.
Import your roster
Paste or upload the team list — name, department, position. Each review gets its own room with its own data, isolated from everything else.
Raters vote by QR
On-site or remote, everyone scans one QR code and rates Performance × Potential from their phone. Votes sync live — no refresh, no apps.
Calibrate on the live grid
The facilitator console projects the nine-box as votes arrive. Discuss outliers, set the final placement, and export a decision-ready summary.
Features
Everything a serious review cycle needs — nothing it doesn't
Built for the review event itself: fast to set up, transparent in the room, clean to archive.
Real-time voting
PL × POT ratings stream onto the matrix as they are cast. The room sees consensus form instead of waiting for a report.
Pre-review round
Send the same grid to raters ahead of the meeting, then compare pre-evaluation vs. live results to see how discussion moved opinions.
Facilitator console
An on-screen mode for the live discussion: big grid, vote counts, and controls designed to be projected in the room.
Export everything
CSV and XLSX exports on every plan — including Free. Your data leaves with you, whenever you want it.
Data destroyed on delete
When you delete a room, the roster, votes, and results are permanently erased. No lingering copies, no dark archive.
EU & US hosting, no tracking
Choose where review data lives before you create the room. No analytics scripts, no ad networks, no data selling. Ever.
Pricing
Pay per review cycle — not per seat
Evaluators always join free by scanning a QR code. Only the host needs a plan, and one cycle covers one complete review event.

FAQ
What HR teams ask first
The short answers. The full list lives on the pricing page.
What counts as a review cycle?
One complete review event in a room — roster import, pre-review, live voting, nine-box discussion, final placement, and export. You pay once for that cycle, not per person and not per month.
Do evaluators need accounts?
No. Raters scan a QR code and vote from their phone or laptop — no sign-up, no install, no license. Only the host needs a NineBox account.
Where is our data stored?
You choose EU or US hosting before creating a room. Data is destroyed permanently when you delete the room — and we never train AI on your data.
Can we export results?
Yes — CSV and XLSX exports are included on every plan, including Free. Rosters, votes, and the final nine-box placement all export.
Your next review cycle could run in one afternoon.
